    Lightbulb Fri 6/26 - F4 volunteer opportunity (Meals on Wheels)

    Hello F4,

    We are looking for several volunteers for the Subaru Meals on Wheels Volunteer Day on Fri 6/26 from 8a-noon.
    We'll be preparing meals for senior citizens in need in Southern NV. Film crew will be documenting our volunteer activities so you must be comfortable being filmed.

    If you are a collage student, feel free to take this opportunity to use the time towards your units. (You must be 18+ to participate)

    Meals on Wheels Tray Line Volunteer Description:

    The Meals on Wheels Tray Line Volunteer is integral member of our team assisting 1400 clients each day. This volunteer is responsible for placing appropriate portions of food items on individual trays, sealing and labeling trays. Meals on Wheels provide a set of seven frozen, nutritious meals once a week, to homebound seniors 60 years of age or older. The meals are prepared on site and designed to meet the nutritional needs of seniors. Our tray line volunteers work under the direction of Chef Jun, Executive Sous Chef.

    Physical requirements:
    Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
    Ability to work in a face paced environment.
    Ability to lift ten pounds and occasionally lift overhead.

    Dress Code:
    Closed-toe/closed heel, non-slip shoes. Athletic shoes are highly recommended. Sandals and high heels are not permissible; volunteers who arrive wearing the wrong footwear will not be able to volunteer according to our health and safety requirements.
    Long pants. Absolutely no shorts or skirts.
    Shirts with sleeves. Shirts must cover upper arms, upper chest and stomach. Sleeveless and low cut shirts are not permissible.
    No Jewelry or watches
    Volunteers out of dress code will not be able to serve.
