    Oil pressure

    where does anyone put their oil pressure sending unit? (sandwich plate or somewhere to tap in?)
    Would you look at that ^

    Top of the engine, near the back of the block. There's a port just for an oil sending unit, but it will read high so be prepared!

    sphinx you can do either. Sandwich will work but the preferred method tends to be the top of the block. It's underneath the TMIC, fairly centered. Hex key required I believe. There's several write ups on it on either NASIOC, iwsti, etc..

    I used a kit like this that makes it easier to install into the oil galley plug. Then you can install any oil pressure gauge sending unit easier.

    I used the prosport galley plug kit with no issues. I picked it up at SOLV.
